Warhorse Studios has faced a cyber assault resulting in unauthorized access to both company systems and information.
In a announcement, the Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 creator stated it is “collaborating with cybersecurity specialists to safeguard our systems, investigate the occurrence, and evaluate its complete impact.”
“As the inquiry proceeds, Warhorse Studios is not conducting interviews or offering further comments at this moment. We will disclose additional information once it becomes accessible.”
CEO Martin Frývaldský also remarked on the matter, referring to it as a “critical incident for Warhorse Studios and all impacted.”
“We are allocating the resources required to tackle this situation and will relay additional information as soon as we can responsibly do so.”
Last week, Capcom faced a data leak affecting over 11.7 million online accounts. The publisher confirmed that customer details were accessed by an unauthorized third party.
Earlier this year, Rockstar was impacted by a data breach, where a “limited extent of non-material information was related to a third-party data breach.”
The Grand Theft Auto developer also encountered a major leak in September 2022, when 90 in-development GTA 6 video clips were revealed.
