Until Dawn 2 to Showcase New PS5 Gameplay and More in Alamo Drafthouse Livestream

Sony is initiating the process for Until Dawn 2, its narrative horror expedition releasing in a few brief months.

The PS5 exclusive game, crafted by Firesprite, is set to debut on 28th January 2027. However, you can catch an early glimpse of the gameplay, as the company intends to present it during a glamorous live event this December.

Until Dawn 2 will feature notably at the American cinema chain Alamo Drafthouse (which is owned by Sony Pictures, incidentally) on 11th December, 2026, where participants will have the chance to witness “an exclusive gameplay presentation” as well as partake in a horror film marathon.

The occasion will also include “special guest appearances,” presumably indicating that actors from the game will be appearing live.

If you can’t make it to an Alamo Drafthouse, the gameplay presentation will be streamed live so you can witness the new game in action. More information will be available shortly.

While it’s a follow-up to the highly successful original game, Until Dawn 2 revolves around a completely new cast and a distinctly different narrative.

The plot centers on a team of ghost hunters venturing to a secluded island, having secured a TV deal to capture the enigmatic abandoned resort.

Despite the new storyline and characters, it remains true to the essence of the first Until Dawn; you guide this assembly of individuals and must make decisions that can profoundly affect the narrative.

Heavily influenced by horror films, this event is quite fitting.
