Another hero

Goichi Suda (also known as Suda51), the leading figure at Grasshopper Manufacture, has ignited fresh optimism among fans regarding future developments for the cult classic No More Heroes series.

In a broader conversation with Famitsu, he was queried about No More Heroes as it nears its 20th anniversary in 2027.

When asked if there are any arrangements being prepared for the milestone, Suda51 confirmed that his team, alongside publisher Marvelous, is indeed working on something. (Quotes may have been translated.)

“Marvelous knows this, and we certainly aim to collaborate for the 20th anniversary,” he mentions. “We’re intending to present something unique, so do anticipate it. Travis Touchdown will certainly be returning!”

While no additional specifics were revealed, it appears there’s something for enthusiasts to anticipate in the upcoming year.

The inaugural No More Heroes was launched in Japan in December 2007 and was subsequently made available to western audiences in 2008.

Multiple titles have emerged in the series, with the latest being No More Heroes 3, which was released for PS5 and PS4 in 2022.

Regardless, there’s limited information available here, but it certainly seems like fans of the series have something to look forward to shortly.
