Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Gets New Game+ Patch, More Than Three Years After Its ‘Final’ Update
Its most sought-after addendum

It has been over three complete years since Assassin’s Creed Valhalla received its “final” update, all the way back in February 2023.
However, for some inexplicable reason, Ubisoft has decided to revisit its top-selling entry and is on the verge of launching Valhalla’s most sought-after patch.
New Game+ will be arriving for the open-world RPG next week, on the 5th of November.
New Game+ was in significant demand when the title was still extremely popular, but to many people’s dismay, the development team opted not to integrate it, even with Valhalla benefiting from more than two years of extensive support.
The new mode will include “dedicated NG+ scaling,” indicating that all elements — levels, equipment, foes — will adjust to a fitting level when you kick off a New Game+ session.
For those who may not be familiar with New Game+, it allows you to restart the game’s narrative while retaining your character’s advancements. You keep all your skills and gear from a completed save.
According to the official press announcement, this Valhalla patch also features:
- An optional progression mode where Gear, Runes, and Masteries all enhance Eivor’s total Power
- New runes, achievements, a stash system, and additional rewards, including a Master Assassin outfit inspired by Naoe’s appearance in Assassin’s Creed Shadows
- Mithril, a new resource for upgrading Divine Gear and enhancing runes
- Divine Gear quality for all items
The reality is, experiencing Valhalla just once can easily require more than 100 hours, especially when you include its numerous expansions in the mix. A New Game+ session is going to demand a serious commitment.
Shall I inquire if you’ll be revisiting Assassin’s Creed Valhalla for this update? Sharpen your axes in the comments section below.
