EA’s Fight Night franchise has long been a beloved part of the original Xbox and Xbox 360 period, and after 15 years since the most recent release, it’s been officially announced that it’s making a return!
This announcement was made a few hours ago through a new social media account, and even in that brief time, it has already garnered over 60,000 likes and 2 million views.
Here’s the revelation:
As observed, there are no solid details regarding what to anticipate from the upcoming Fight Night title at this point, but speculations have indicated for a couple of years that EA has been keen on revitalizing the series, with one specific article in 2024 highlighting how the company was captivated by the success of the boxing game Undisputed.
Since Fight Night Champion was released in 2011, we haven’t seen any Fight Night title, and that game continues to be surprisingly popular on current consoles to this day due to Xbox’s backward compatibility. If EA assembles the right development team for this new installment, it should prove to be a significant success whenever it debuts in the future.
