The publisher and developer Remedy Entertainment has recently unveiled its newest title, Control Resonant, which has proven to be immensely successful so far.
In fact, it stands as the quickest-selling game in the company’s history, achieving 1 million units sold merely three weeks post-launch.
Consequently, Remedy has experienced a robust third quarter, as detailed in its latest financial overview.
Essentially, the debut of Control Resonant resulted in a substantial year-on-year increase in revenue for the company’s third quarter—from July to September 2026—rising by 226 percent.
Furthermore, operating profit saw a notable rise; Remedy reports €0.6 million, a marked improvement from the €16.4 million deficit recorded during the same timeframe the previous year.
The firm indicates that the United States serves as the game’s largest market across both PC and consoles, representing “almost half” of all sales.
It also states that nearly half of all players are “new to Control,” implying that the audience for the franchise has significantly broadened with the introduction of Resonant.
All indications suggest that the game has thrived for Remedy. We thoroughly enjoyed the game in our review, as have numerous other critics, and it appears to be performing well commercially as well.
