Bill & Ted Rock Out on PS5 in New Side-Scrolling Arcade Adventure

Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure Arcade has recently been unveiled for PS5, and it appears to be quite promising.

Inspired by the original Bill & Ted film of the identical title, this is a side-scrolling action adventure — for up to two players — in which the endlessly hopeful duo journeys through various eras to enlist renowned historical figures.

Notably, the game will include voice lines extracted directly from the movie, and it promises “an awesome 80s rock soundtrack”.

Gameplay reportedly combines combat and unique minigames. Complete the story mode, and you’ll gain access to an “arcade mode, minigames, and additional features”.

This title currently lacks a release timeframe, but one might speculate that it will launch sometime next year.
