We were a little surprised to have any Pikmin news at all this weekend, let alone a flippin’ Direct! Since the whole thing caught us a little off guard, we thought it only right to share this reminder: Pikmin 4 – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Dandori Academy is getting a free demo, and it’s available today!
The new demo gives you free rein to explore the base game’s first main area, Sun-Speckled Terrace, and access to two of the challenges in the new Dandori Academy Switch 2 expansion. It’s live on the Switch eShop right now, for those interested.
The best part? All of your save data will carry over to the full game (if you choose to take the plunge on 12th November), so you don’t need to worry about playing through the opening stage again.
The surprise Pikmin Direct also detailed new Pikmin Bloom features and introduced a new series of ‘Hello Pikmin’ short films.
Have you already checked out the Pikmin 4 Switch 2 demo? Let us know in the comments.
