Hitman: Absolution – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition has stealthily arrived on the new console earlier this week, and it’s complimentary to all players who possess the game on Switch 1! At least, it’s complimentary for now.
Indeed, as pointed out by Feral Interactive, the upgrade option to the Switch 2 edition remains free until November 4th, while the game itself benefits from a 10% introductory discount. Starting November 5th, the upgrade package will cost you $9.99 / £4.99 / €4.99, whereas the game will revert to its full price of $39.99 / £24.99 / €29.99.
It’s a minor cost for a Switch 2 enhancement, we’ll concede, but we want to ensure no one misses the opportunity to obtain it at no cost. Take this as your two-week notice!
The new Switch 2 edition features enhanced resolution, a target of 60fps, Mouse Mode compatibility, and the new Contracts Mode for engaging online challenges.
For those interested in a physical copy, good news awaits, as Limited Run Games has revealed that it will manage precisely that, with pre-orders commencing next week.
