According to the official tagline, the second season “offers a fresh standalone 10-episode tale from the universe of Cyberpunk 2077… a gritty account of redemption and vengeance. In a metropolis that flourishes under the glare of violence, one question persists: when the world is obscured by spectacle, what lengths must you go to make your narrative significant?”
Hideo Kojima is poised to return as Hideyoshi Oshima, from Cyberpunk 2077. Other newly introduced characters consist of D (voiced by Koki Uchiyama and Nazeeh Tarsha), camera-bearing Roman Carrax (voiced by Momoka Terasawa and Valeria Rodriguez), and Weak Kingsley, an appreciably older character voiced by the famed Clancy Brown).
