Final Fantasy 14’s new typing minigame already causing chaos with bots and impossible words

On the journey to the forthcoming expansion Everkold, Square Enix has unveiled a fresh minigame in Final Fantasy 14 within its cherished virtual casino, the Gold Saucer – a typing duel that is already igniting all the disorder.
Keyboard Brawler, which is poised to leave the Gold Saucer’s assortment of whimsical minigames as Evercold launches this January, is quite straightforward. You advance through waves, in other words, “battles,” by entering specific terms that appear to attack foes.
Speed and precision are crucial (forgive the pun) here, as they are in many typing games, but it seems players are contending with more than just their own fingers.
To begin with, there are the unachievable words – yes, I mean literally unachievable if you possess a US or UK English keyboard, since there are terms from languages such as German that feature diacritical symbols like the umlaut (unattainable unless you utilize key commands to access them, of course, though that’s not particularly convenient or realistic during a fast-paced typing battle).
A player’s screenshot on Reddit emphasizes the predicament.
What am I meant to do about that? (Keyboard Brawler) from r/ffxiv
It displays the term “doppelgänger,” umlaut included, with the perplexed poster inquiring, “What am I meant to do about that?”
On X, other users can be observed facing the same term (and others with diacritical signs), too: “Who decided putting ‘doppelgänger’ in Keyboard Brawler was a good choice like what the heck?” What the heck, indeed, anon. What the heck, indeed. It would be one thing if the unachievable words were the only setback for fans…
However, they are not. There exists, unfortunately, the dilemma of bots, cheaters, and plugins. As one thread illustrates, the entire cheating issue has emerged rapidly – Keyboard Brawler just debuted a few days ago, after all.
Who is botting Keyboard Brawler lol it just released
Or perhaps they are simply an exceptionally skilled touch typist idk https://t.co/3Nec3I3ZDPOctober 28,
