What are you doing, Xbox? Perhaps playing GTA 6? It’s possible!
Last night, Xbox shared an image that put everyone into full sleuth mode. The image showcases a charming Halloween arrangement complete with a pumpkin, pinecone, and a particularly attractive translucent Xbox Elite controller, BUT the focal point is the game tile for Grand Theft Auto VI.
The tweet has garnered over 2.8 million views since its publication, and the predominant reaction questions whether Xbox is indeed playing GTA 6 or not.
Some observed the absence of the ‘pre-ordered’ label where the ‘Grand Theft Auto VI’ text would typically appear, while others have gone as far as to speculate that Xbox is the actual informant. Naturally, it’s all in good humor, but there’s something entertaining about the suspicious James Doakes probing Xbox for leaking GTA 6 in response to the “GTA 6 Plays Best on PS5” advertising campaign.
In any case, it’s merely a bit of amusement. Nevertheless, GTA 6 is real, folks! It is on its way. Xbox may or may not be indulging, but you certainly will be when November 19th arrives.
