Three Xbox Game Pass Release Dates Revealed At October’s Nintendo Indie World Showcase
Well, that concludes the latest installment of Nintendo’s Indie World Showcase, and as we’ve come to anticipate from these indie presentations, there were several Xbox Game Pass announcements included.
Witchbrook is a ‘captivating witch life-simulation’ that we’ve been keeping an eye on for ages now. It was introduced all the way back in 2018, and a launch date always seemed just beyond reach. Today, however, we can finally exhale knowing it’s en route to Xbox Game Pass in January.
Another confirmed Xbox Game Pass day-one entry is Tanuki: Pon’s Summer, which has secured a release date a tad earlier, launching just a few days prior to GTA 6. Be wary Rockstar, Tanuki may just capture your playerbase.
Regarding the third announcement, that one is a bit tricky. Back in August, Dumpster Gang was revealed as a day-one launch for PC Game Pass, expected as soon as December 3rd. Now, the game has been allocated a console debut of March 2027.
Here are the three games that received Xbox Game Pass launch dates at today’s Nintendo Indie World showcase:
Witchbrook (January 28, 2027)

Tanuki: Pon’s Summer (November 10, 2026)
The Tanuki Festival is merely a month away, and the shrine needs repairs.
