If you’re aiming to enhance your audio quality for GTA 6, Sony has announced the release of its newly redesigned PlayStation Pulse headset, which will coincide with Rockstar’s eagerly awaited title on 19th November.
Pre-orders will commence on PS Direct next week, starting at 10AM local time on 29th October. The PS Blog also notes that purchases will be available from “participating retailers” – likely including Amazon, Best Buy, and others.
The headphones are priced at $99.99/£89.99/€99.99, which is somewhat pricey, yet aligns with what I would expect for an item of this nature.

If you overlooked the reveal earlier this year, this is a modernized edition of Sony’s previously launched Pulse Elite headset, featuring larger planar drivers for richer, more precise audio.
The headset includes PS Link compatibility with devices such as the PS5 and PS Portal, in addition to generic Bluetooth support for other gadgets. It also has a built-in microphone with AI-based noise cancellation for clear communication.
It will be available in standard White or Midnight Black color options, with pre-orders for both colors opening on the previously mentioned dates.
A second, professional-grade headset named the Pulse Edge, equipped with a detachable boom mic and improved planar drivers, is slated for release in 2027 and is expected to come with a significantly higher price tag.
