Victorian-themed free-to-play open world title Silver Palace is set to launch globally on 14th December, which has genuinely surprised me.

I experienced this elegant creation at Gamescom earlier this year, but thought it was still quite distant.

However, in a stunning reveal overnight, publisher Elementa has verified that the game will debut on the PS5 in just a few short weeks.

Pre-registration is open now across all platforms, featuring various milestones, including a complimentary 4-Star character. The initial goal has already been reached, and you can monitor the progress here.

I believe PS Store wishlisting aids in meeting the pre-registration goals, and you can do that here.

Silver Palace is distinctly a gacha title in a similar vein to Genshin Impact, though I think its majestic sandbox offers a slightly unique twist compared to other offerings in the market.

In its official description, Elementa characterizes it as a title “focused on investigative mysteries.” Some of the production quality in the Gamescom demo I experienced left me awestruck.

Additionally, there’s a new trailer showcasing the character Gratia. I find the voice acting quite enjoyable, and this trailer exhibited significantly more personality than previous ones – although I do believe, at its essence, this title is navigating familiar terrain.

I don’t truly possess sufficient time in my life for another gacha title, but I will definitely give this one a shot over Christmas and provide a review. I imagine we’ll receive plenty more details in the weeks preceding the launch as well.
