Torn to be Wild by Jim Norman Yesterday, 5:30pm Developer Just2D along with publisher Deck13 have revealed that a follow-up to the 2024 RPG Drova – Forsaken Kin is currently in development, and it is slated to arrive on Switch 2 at some point next year. Drova II – Torn Lands retains the same pixel art style as its predecessor and continues its enchanting narrative. However, it seems the developer has aimed for a more grandiose experience this time, featuring an enhanced combat system, two main factions to select from, and additional narrative-altering choices. This time around, you will have the opportunity to navigate a new Otherworld, altered following the events of the previous title, and encounter the ancient tribes engaged in conflict that inhabit it. According to the reveal trailer, we can anticipate numerous ways to engage in battles, a variety of NPCs offering side quests, and several threats lurking in the wilderness... Read More
Image: Nintendo Life The conflict at the core of contemporary Call of Duty between the linear thrill ride of the campaign and the open-world approach that has progressed over the past twenty years of gaming has led to three modes receiving equal recognition in Modern Warfare 4. You have your classic storyline Campaign, which I discussed last week (it’s great). Currently holding a Metascore of 79 from 46 critiques at the moment of this writing, this revival for Nintendo’s ‘Sports’ following last year’s Nintendo Switch Sports has struck a chord with many reviewers, if not completely blown them away. Our own Jim Norman was profoundly impressed with both the classic and new games in this selection, scoring it a 9/10 and mentioning, “it’s refreshing to see the series back on course” after “the shaky start of its predecessor”: Subscribe to Nintendo Life on YouTube854k While some of the 12 assorted sports may feel a tad too cautious, most of the classics perform better than ever, and the newcomers astonish and please with some quintessential Nintendo creativity.
