And a title emblem

We sometimes forget how long we have been anticipating official updates regarding the next installment in Bethesda’s The Elder Scrolls series, and now the studio has at last, at last revealed its title.
As disclosed by Todd Howard himself in a new studio 40th anniversary video, the following game in the series is named The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel (yes, the identical title that was reported last week).
The announcement does not provide much additional information beyond that. There’s a short preview of a metallic scroll being uncovered from some sand, the title emblem, and the subsequent quotation from ‘Yazar, Moth Priest of High Queen Iradne of Hammerfell’, but that’s all:
The scroll revealed merely a glimmer, a veil lightly raised to my sight. A future forgotten. A triumph lost. Sands of time dispersed by destiny.
That’s everything we possess at the moment. Still no release date, still no confirmed consoles, still no gameplay. But hey, a title is a solid beginning!
Considering Bethesda’s backing for Switch 2 thus far, we are hopeful that we will see the next installment in the series come our way eventually (whenever that may be), but there’s no official confirmation regarding that right now, unfortunately.
