Cyberpunk’s Edgerunners 2 Update Isn’t In The Best State On Switch 2
Not so exceptional?
Last week, Cyberpunk 2077 commemorated the launch of the new season of Edgerunners on Netflix with the announcement of a completely new game patch.
The Edgerunners 2 update is officially active on the Switch 2, yet regrettably, it hasn’t had the smoothest of beginnings. Users on this hybrid device are experiencing a multitude of issues, including game crashes, loading errors, performance problems, and profile & save errors. Some residents of Night City are even asserting that the Nintendo version is “unplayable” following the 2.5 update.
We’ve examined the most recent update and can verify that there are some setbacks, including crashes. The positive aspect is that CD Projekt Red typically acts swiftly to address such initial concerns. And well, CP2077 has a notable past regarding rocky launches, so it is likely already investigating these user reports and will correct any significant issues as soon as possible with a patch.
Should we receive an official statement or learn anything about a hotfix, we will provide an update. Moreover, if you haven’t checked what’s incorporated in this latest game update, it introduces mod support, dual-wielding for pistols, and much more. You can discover details in our previous article. We would also like to take this chance to remind you that this release remains a remarkable adaptation for the Switch 2.
How has your experience been with Cyberpunk’s recent update for Switch 2 up to now? Have you run into any of these problems? Share your thoughts in the comments.
