As I pen this, we are merely nine days away from one of the most awaited remakes ever launched. Ocarina of Time occupies a unique position in the hearts of countless gamers – and that applies to most of us who are engaging with (and contributing to) a website called Nintendo Life.
A few weeks ago, we inquired about your initial experience with the game, whether you were present on the N64 back in 1998 or encountered Zelda’s inaugural venture into the third dimension at some point over the years since.
Today, we are keen to learn more! As we’ve delved into over the past few weeks, the Ocarina not only triggers a sense of nostalgia for the game (though there is certainly an abundance of that), but also brings forth intense memories of both the game itself and where we found ourselves in life during that first session.

With this in mind, we would love to hear more of your personal Ocarina recollections, as we are welcoming submissions for a community-centric article akin to our N64 and Pokémon Memories features from earlier this year.
If you possess a cherished memory you wish to share with us — and possibly see included in an upcoming article — please review the guidelines below on how to submit them!
Nintendo Life Ocarina Memories submission guidelines
- 100 words at most – We want to showcase as many as we can in the final article, so please keep it brief! (Keep in mind, 100 is the limit – it can be shorter!)
- Limit the number of submissions – You probably have numerous memories from your gameplay experiences, but kindly select just your finest one.
- Understand that we can’t choose them all! – Please realize if your submission doesn’t appear in the final article.
