Looking through the list of “games coming to Xbox next week” that we published on Saturday, a few titles stick out in particular – and one is the surprise announcement of Yet Another Zombie Survivors for Xbox on September 10th!
This game has had a free demo on Xbox for a while, where it has a rating of 4.8/5 based on 268 user reviews in the US. On Steam, the game has a “Very Positive” rating with reviews that are extremely praiseworthy on the whole:
Cape God on Steam: “This game is one of the best survivors-like games I’ve ever played. The developers had the creativity to create something unique, very engaging, and also balanced to avoid becoming brain rot, which is the trap almost every survivors-like falls into. This is a masterpiece, and I cannot wait for new updates.”
MikeMilenko on Steam: “Yet Another Zombie Survivors is an absolute blast. The gameplay is fast, frantic, and ridiculously addictive—exactly what you want from a horde survival game. Watching your squad mow down endless waves of zombies while you upgrade, evolve, and push just a little further each run never gets old. The progression system is rewarding, with plenty of upgrades and synergies to experiment with, and the variety of characters and abilities keeps things fresh. Runs can go from chaotic to utterly insane in the best way possible, and it’s always satisfying to see just how far you can push your build.”
Sounds good then, right? As mentioned, you should definitely go and check out the Xbox demo to see what you think, and then Yet Another Zombie Survivors will be available for Xbox One, Series X and Series S on September 10th.
The only catch is that it’s going to be in “Game Preview” form, which means it’s basically an early access title. That should keep the price low though – we’re anticipating it’s probably going to cost around $14.99 when it arrives on Xbox.
