Black Ops 7 Season 01 Revealed Before The Game’s Even Out, And It’s Absolutely Stacked

10 maps verified for Season 01

Black Ops 7‘s Xbox debut is precisely three weeks away, with the latest Call of Duty installment poised to arrive on Xbox Game Pass on November 14th. Nevertheless, players aren’t even being granted time to process what’s in the base game currently – as Activision discloses an immense amount of content arriving with Season 01.

Indeed, weeks prior to the core game being released, Black Ops 7 Season 01 has been disclosed. In total, developer Treyarch is introducing 10 maps during the initial season of the game – seven for multiplayer and three for Zombies mode, as the team attempts to entice players with even more multiplayer and co-op features in this year’s release.

As depicted in the roadmap above, the notorious Nuketown map is also being introduced to the game immediately following launch on November 20th, and additional details about Season 01 will be unveiled closer to the launch. We do not have a specific date for the arrival of Season 01 as of yet, but based on past games, you can anticipate it to debut sometime in December.

Although this year’s game does come off as somewhat of a Black Ops 6 re-skin, we cannot ignore the fact that this is a significant amount of content to deliver around the launch – and COD enthusiasts should find themselves well entertained during the release period of Black Ops 7. Naturally, the game also releases on day one in Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, granting subscribers a chance to experience the series’ return to near-future warfare next month.
