Better get saving those points
Well, this is a turn up for the books!
Microsoft Rewards has announced that it’ll be hosting a special October 2025 sale on gift cards, and although not too many details have been revealed so far, it’ll definitely include Xbox gift cards as part of the promotion.
This is appearing as part of a new banner on the Microsoft Rewards dashboard, where we can see the aforementioned Xbox gift cards alongside Amazon, Starbucks and Roblox gift cards – and that’s likely just a sample of what’s included.
Here’s a look at that banner from the UK version of MS Rewards. Microsoft has yet to announce which regions this sale will be taking place in, so it’s worth logging into the dashboard to see if this banner is showing for you or not (we found it in the “Redeem” section).
We still don’t know much about this yet – how big the discounts will be, for example – but we’ll obviously be keeping an eye out and will update you with more details ASAP.
For now though, if you were planning on spending some Microsoft Rewards points in the near future, it might be worth trying to wait until October if you can. At the very least, it sounds like you’ll get a small benefit for doing so.
