Two decades ago, Microsoft’s Xbox 360 console was poised to create major waves in the gaming world, establishing Xbox as a significant contender in the console market. This was a considerable time ago, but periodically it’s enjoyable to reflect and indulge in the nostalgia of that period – and a fresh Reddit post provided just that for us recently.
A few days back, a Reddit member — whose father was part of the Xbox 360 launch team back in the day — showcased an extremely cool 360 faceplate from that era. Here’s a closer look at this nostalgic piece of Xbox 360 memorabilia:
While we’ve definitely encountered similar items before — often linked to a complete Xbox 360 console — we can’t recall having seen this particular faceplate, especially in such excellent condition. Another user shared a related example in the comments, which we also recognize, but regardless – both pieces are undeniably impressive!
If the original poster does indeed decide to sell this item, some other Reddit participants have suggested that they could likely fetch two to three hundred dollars for it, which is quite exciting. However, considering the faceplate’s condition — along with the OP’s family ties to the Xbox 360 launch team — we would certainly be inclined to retain this treasure for as long as possible!
