You can never have too many Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games, right…?
We’re getting another one on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S next week, as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tactical Takedown has just received a surprise August 14th release date for the two Xbox consoles along with Nintendo Switch.
This title first launched for PC back in May, and it’s the “first-ever turn-based Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles video game”. Unfortunately it seems like it’s struggled for sales on Steam – there are only just over 100 user ratings for it right now – but the good news is that it’s got a “Very Positive” rating based on those who have shared their thoughts.
You’re looking at 20 action-packed levels, a graphic novel-inspired art style, customisable movesets to shape each Turtles’ playstyle, a thumping multi-genre soundtrack and more, and it’s been developed by the indie team behind the likes of Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator and El Paso, Elsewhere. Colour us intrigued!
