By We’re all DOOMed

Another weekend has arrived, everyone, which ideally means some free moments to indulge in gaming whenever possible. It’s been another hectic week on Xbox, with yet another significant first-party launch, namely DOOM: The Dark Ages – a game we believe many of you will be diving into this weekend.
Here’s what we’ve got lined up for the next few days:

I indeed intend to check out a bit of DOOM: The Dark Ages this weekend, whenever I can. I have to admit that I don’t envision myself completing it anytime soon – but I am curious to see how it stacks up against DOOM and DOOM Eternal. I can’t complain about Xbox Game Pass enabling me to experience just that!
I’ve also been indulging in some nostalgia lately, revisiting Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Yes, despite the recent arrival of the new Modern Warfare 2 on XGP, I’m enjoying the original MW2 – and it remains a blast even today. Come on Microsoft, let’s get some classic COD on Xbox Game Pass soon…

I have a packed weekend ahead where I’ll be on the move a bit, so my Switch OLED will likely be my primary gaming platform – I might have to snag Balatro since I can’t seem to get enough of it on Xbox Game Pass!
When I finally get back to my Xbox, I’ll be alternating between Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, UFL, and The Precinct. All three games have my focus right now, but it’s Expedition 33 that has truly captivated me, and I’m just trying to savor the experience – don’t want it to end! DOOM: The Dark Ages certainly looks promising, but it might take me a while to get into it since I haven’t even played DOOM Eternal yet!
