I, the writer, have yet to try an all-button controller, but it has certainly caught my attention, as many professional fighting aficionados appear to be shifting towards this option instead of traditional sticks. It’s definitely time to explore this avenue, at the very least.

In this regard, we will test it out to gain complete insight into this device shortly, so be sure to check back for an in-depth review down the line. In the meantime, here are more exciting details from the official 8BitDo press release and a few appealing images to enjoy.

The 8BitDo Arcade Controller for Xbox launches on July 15th.

“Designed for experts. Unmatched precision and lightning-fast inputs with an all-button arcade layout and accurate four-way movement setup. Execute combos with exceptional speed and accuracy like never before. Nearly the size of an A4 sheet of paper and as slim as 1.6 cm. Compete anytime, anywhere.”
