Hopping into your digital gardens?
Welcome to another weekend! We’re now officially into August 2025, which means the early access release of Obsidian’s Grounded 2 has come and gone – day one on Xbox Game Pass of course. We’d wager some of you folks are probably trying that one out this weekend!
Here’s what we’re dipping into over the next few days:

It’s become a bit of a guilty pleasure in recent months, particularly after some welcome updates from the teams at Nacon and KT Racing, but I’ve been enjoying my time with Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown again over the last few weeks. I reckon more cruising, racing and delivery missions are on the cards this weekend!
I’ll be playing some Croc: Legend of the Gobbos this weekend too. It ended up being my sole pickup from Xbox’s recent summer sale – just because it’s quick and easy to dip into and I know I’ll actually end up playing it! Ahh, the nostalgic PS1 memories…

I’m in a Baldur’s Gate 3 mood this weekend. It’s been a while since I last dipped into it, and the latest hotfix cleared up a few pesky Xbox issues this week, so I feel like now’s a good time to revisit my save and try to remember where I left off!
Beyond that, WWE 2K25 is definitely calling to me – it’s part of Free Play Days to celebrate SummerSlam weekend – and I’m keen to continue my playthroughs of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and South of Midnight on Xbox Game Pass. I might end up buying Blacktail as part of the weekly Xbox deals as well – it looks great for such a low price.
