Featuring this well-liked cooperative shooter
Microsoft has disclosed the lineup of five titles scheduled to exit Xbox Game Pass in May 2025 today, with the standout being Remnant 2 – a beloved cooperative shooter that received excellent feedback upon its release a couple of years back.
All these titles are likely to be removed on May 31st, though there is always a possibility that Microsoft may modify the list – in the previous announcement, a few games ended up staying longer than previously indicated.
Here is the complete list of games departing Xbox Game Pass in late May 2025:
Date | Game | Platform |
---|---|---|
May 31 | Cassette Beasts | Console, PC |
May 31 | Firework | PC |
May 31 | HUMANITY | Console, PC |
May 31 | Remnant 2 | Console, PC |
May 31 | Slayers X: Terminal Aftermath | Console, PC |
As is customary, these games will be offered at a minimum discount of 20% until their exit from the service, and some might see greater markdowns as part of any ongoing Xbox promotions until the end of May.
No announcements have been made regarding titles leaving Xbox Game Pass in June, but we have early predictions available elsewhere on Pure Xbox – which also includes the confirmed departure of Slayers X: Terminal Aftermath.
