Electronics Arts has finally christened the upcoming Battlefield entry, and its grand unveiling is just moments away. Yep, the publishing giant is keeping naming conventions refreshingly minimalist with ‘Battlefield 6‘—DICE’s next flagship instalment in the long-running military shooter franchise.
This iteration has already endured several waves of hush-hush test sessions, and snippets of that feedback inevitably bubbled up onto the web these past months. The good news: the days of peeping at poor-quality screenshots are nearly over—the full Battlefield 6 reveal trailer drops July 24th.

EA, DICE, plus a constellation of supporting studios have poured years into this project, reacting to the stumble that was Battlefield 2042, which landed on Xbox in late 2021. This effort feels like the second “back-to-basics” reset for the series as the publisher squares up against heavy hitters such as Call of Duty and online arena threats like Delta Force.
Expect deeper breakdowns throughout the coming months, but for the moment brace yourselves: the trailer arrives this Thursday at 8 am PT / 11 am ET / 4 pm BST.
