In the market for a new Xbox mobile controller? 8BitDo has introduced its new “Xbox Edition” of the already existing “Ultimate Mobile Gaming Controller” this week, providing a bunch of cool features for a very reasonable price.

Perhaps the highlight here are the Hall Effect sticks and triggers, while it also boasts a tactile d-pad and bumpers (said to have a “clicky yet smooth” feel), enhanced grip and premium build quality, 2 Pro back paddle buttons, the ability to stretch to fit most mobile devices, and various other bonuses. Here’s a list:

  • Support Xbox Cloud Gaming
  • Hall Effect triggers and joysticks
  • 2 Pro back paddle buttons
  • Tactile bumpers and d-pad
  • Enhanced grip
  • Profile button
  • Support 8BitDo Ultimate Software V2

As you can see, the 8BitDo Ultimate Mobile Gaming Controller – Xbox Edition comes with a Bluetooth connection rather a native USB-C one, and it supports both Android and Apple devices.

If you’re interested, it’s available to purchase now on Amazon (US) at a price of $49.99, and there’s also a version on the 8BitDo website for the same price. We’re hoping it’ll extend to Amazon in other countries soon as well.

Here’s a look at some screenshots, along with a link to the Amazon and 8BitDo stores:
