We have been eagerly awaiting Witchbrook updates for years now, and during today’s Indie World Showcase, it finally received a release date for Switch 1 & 2.
Chucklefish’s charming-looking witch RPG is set to debut on our cherished handhelds on 28th January 2027 — which is merely three months from now… unnervingly.
The latest trailer provided us yet another glimpse of the game’s stunning pixel art graphics, magical school mechanics, and enough heartwarming moments that even the most cynical among us cannot help but grin. Hey, a booster like this will be appreciated at the end of January!
The game was postponed nearly a year ago, with the developers utilizing the additional time to “make sure the world feels rich, immersive, and alive.” It certainly appears that way in the newest trailer, so let’s hope it lives up to the anticipation next year.
