UK Charts: Tony Hawk Puts Up A Gnarly Debut, But There’s No Catching Mario Kart World
By It’s time for another glance at the weekly UK rankings, and guess what, Mario Kart World is still securing the top spot.
Indeed, the flagship game for Switch 2 has clinched the gold medal yet again, though not without its challengers. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 made a radical entry, kickflipping into second place during its opening week (with merely 11% and 10% of sales attributed to Switch 2 and Switch 1, by the way) and titles like The Sims 4: Enchanted by Nature and Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered also generated sufficient sales in their first week to shake things up in the upper tier of the chart.
The remainder is a rather familiar view, with EA Sports FC 25, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and Minecraft all lingering in the top 10. Death Stranding 2: On the Beach has taken a bit of a drop this week, now sitting in tenth, while Assassin’s Creed Shadows has surged dramatically from 25th to fifth place.
