Lost in Cult has announced that its forthcoming physical game label will launch with three exciting titles; two of which will be accessible on the Switch.

The trio of games includes Thank Goodness You’re Here, The Excavation Of Hob’s Barrow, and Immortality (PS5). All will be available commercially through standard editions, but Lost in Cult is also launching a series of premium editions referred to as, uh… ‘EDITIONS’.

Lost in Cult aims to maintain consistency in content for its ‘EDITIONS’ releases, with each featuring the following:

  • Unique outer slipcase featuring original commissioned artwork.
  • Alternate cover for the inside retail case.
  • Developer autographed card and a collection of art cards.
  • Fold-out poster and a collector’s checklist.
  • Custom sticker.
  • A premium booklet curated by renowned Edge Magazine alum Chris Schilling, encompassing developer interviews and analytical essays.
  • All-new artwork spanning the packaging and even the mailing box – with three designs rotated seasonally.

The premium editions will be available only on the Lost in Cult website, with quantities generally ranging between 1,000 and 5,000. Regarding the confirmed titles thus far, Thank Goodness You’re Here and The Excavation of Hob’s Barrow will be limited to 3,000 copies each on Switch. Immortality will be confined to 1,500 copies on PS5.

Furthermore, it’s also noteworthy that if you’re not keen on all the additional items, standard editions will be offered at retailers in collaboration with PM Studio. So, if you’re eager to acquire more physical editions on the Switch, this new initiative from Lost in Cult will certainly be worth monitoring. The positive news is that the company has expressed its commitment to releasing every potential Switch 2 game entirely on the cartridge – no Game-Key Cards here.
