Recently, a fresh Star Wars title titled Star Wars Zero Company was revealed for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, and today we’ve been given a launch timeframe alongside some initial gameplay footage.
As previously mentioned, Star Wars Zero Company is created by Bit Reactor, a studio composed of numerous XCOM alumni, and it features a single-player, turn-based strategy format. Notably, it is set during the Clone Wars period of the Star Wars saga, with the official narrative description stating:
Take on the role of Hawks, a former Republic officer guiding Zero Company—a unique team of specialists from various corners of the galaxy. Hawks and his crew are enlisted for a mission against a rising menace that threatens to engulf the galaxy if not addressed. To achieve victory, Hawks must unite a group of reluctant allies who need to set aside their conflicts to face nearly insurmountable challenges.
Star Wars Zero Company currently lacks a specific release date on Xbox, but it possesses a tentative window for 2026. This may be later than some anticipated, yet it certainly appears to be developing well according to the initial visuals.
