Celestial RPG? Master Chief? Whatever comes after!

By now it’s crystal-clear that Microsoft is happy to ship its entire lineup to rival systems, including the PS5, and a new remark from The Game Business journalist Chris Dring implies additional reveals are just around the corner.

While dissecting the latest Circana data on the US games scene with analyst Mat Piscatella, Dring slips in a casual line about forthcoming Xbox ports. The scribbler suggests more cross-platform editions are on the way—adding, almost off-hand, that they’ll arrive “in the coming weeks,” which definitely perked our ears up.

“Xbox is tipped to reveal additional conversions for other machines—Nintendo’s next-gen handheld included and PlayStation 5—in the next several weeks.”

Let’s underscore that this is merely a passing observation from Dring, not a formal report, so keep the usual grain of salt handy. It’s probably an informed hunch built on industry chatter plus Microsoft’s recent cross-console habit, nothing more.

Even so, we know the floodgates will stay open—so, the riddle is: what follows? In our view, Starfield feels overdue for confirmation — especially since Bethesda just teased fresh updates — so that’s our leading bet. Yet only the Xbox brass truly know what surprises await on the multiplatform roadmap!

Which title do you reckon hops the fence next? Sound off down below.

Ben covers breaking news at Pure Xbox, with a soft spot for explosive action, white-knuckle racing and trigger-happy shooters on whatever Xbox hardware he can grab. When the pad is set down, you’ll find him spinning vinyl older than he is, shouting at soccer on the screen, and—more than likely—grabbing a bite somewhere close.
