Xbox Fans Hosting Community FanFest For 2025 Summer Showcase This June

“A community-driven, in-person gathering”

Last month, Microsoft revealed the significant date for its Xbox Games Showcase this summer – with the livestream scheduled for Sunday, June 8th. Unlike previous years, Team Green has chosen to hold an entirely digital event with no physical meet-up – a decision that members of the Xbox community are now addressing.

Shared on the Xbox subreddit over the weekend, several community enthusiasts have organized an unofficial FanFest event. This will be a gathering in Los Angeles, where Xbox fans will come together to experience the 2025 summer showcase live – with complimentary food & beverages, merchandise, giveaways, and much more.

The location for this fan event is now confirmed, but it hasn’t been disclosed to the public yet. If you wish to attend and are in the vicinity, you need to complete this form and hope for a selection – the organizers are utilizing a lottery system to randomly choose the final attendees. The fortunate winners will be announced on May 16th and will receive details of the specific venue in “Downtown Los Angeles”.

Honestly, this sounds incredibly exciting – and we hope the organizers can execute the event smoothly. While we’re far too distant to attend (and will be busy at PX HQ delivering all the updates), it’s always wonderful to see fan experiences like this – especially those that generate enthusiasm around Xbox. We wish everyone participating an unforgettable time!
