Xbox Confirms Its First Two Game Pass Titles For December 2025, And They Both Look Brilliant

We might be set for a robust conclusion to the year!

Before the Xbox indie showcase yesterday, Microsoft hadn’t verified any Game Pass titles for December 2025, and even though 12 XGP additions were revealed during the event – we aim to highlight the initial two games now verified for the service in December.

First to arrive — on December 4th — is Routine; an imminent retro-futuristic sci-fi horror title from developer Lunar Software and publisher Raw Fury. Believe it or not, Lunar’s inaugural title has been in creation for more than ten years – having first been disclosed back in 2012. The game then reappeared in 2022, and our anticipation has only grown since. We’re almost there!

Then, less than a week later, Dome Keeper transports its tower defense roguelike to Xbox Game Pass on December 9th – and this one appears impressive too. Having received nearly 10,000 Steam reviews across the last three years (resulting in a Very Positive overall score), we’re confident Dome Keeper will captivate many of you during the Christmas break.

To find out more about both of these games, check out our extensive Xbox Game Pass summary from the October ID@Xbox showcase, and we’ll also link our comprehensive 2025 Game Pass guide below for a look at what else is in store for the year.

Excited for either of these December XGP titles? How about a quick poll choice below, and feel free to discuss your selection(s) in the comments!
