Exclusively for Essential & Premium members, though

We’ve delivered extensive coverage on Xbox’s extensive Black Friday digital sale previously, which includes all available backwards compatible offers and titles that have dropped to their lowest price ever on the Microsoft Store. Nevertheless, the team has a few other intriguing promotions ongoing at the moment, including some exceptionally affordable options for Xbox Game Pass memberships.
Accessible directly via Microsoft, both Xbox Game Pass Essential and Xbox Game Pass Premium are currently priced at $1. That entry fee of $1 grants you a full month of Essential, while the $1 Premium trial is limited to 14 days of the mid-tier service. Both offers are targeted at individuals who aren’t presently enrolled – and as far as we can tell, there are no similar promotions for Game Pass Ultimate this time around.
Actually, we have been noticing these Game Pass promotions appearing for a few weeks now, but Microsoft is promoting them as fresh Black Friday deals, so we thought we’d draw attention to them here. In addition, the team has also revived its standard Black Friday promotion for Xbox Design Lab; controller engraving will be complimentary on the service from November 27th through December 12th.
There are indeed a few additional promotions Microsoft has outlined in its major Xbox Wire post — including reductions on controllers if you haven’t accumulated enough of those already — and you can explore the complete list of Black Friday deals via the link at the end of this article. And naturally, our coverage on the significant digital Black Friday sale is available below as well!
