Wuchang: Fallen Feathers Gets First Update On Xbox Game Pass, Here Are The Full Patch Notes

By on July 28, 2025 0 8 Views

Although Wuchang: Fallen Feathers earned solid critical scores and sky-high Steam concurrent player counts at launch, it still arrived with its share of hiccups. Desktop players were especially vocal about performance woes on day one; in answer, the studio has now supplied the maiden patch for the Game Pass release.

Naturally, considering the feedback, the patch mostly zeroes in on PC-side fixes, yet broader tweaks sneak in too—ranging from a Chapter 2 balancing pass to a correction that finally serves the proper Standard and Deluxe Edition bonuses.

With both the console and Windows builds included in Game Pass, we’ve pasted the full Patch 1.3 rundown right here.

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers Update 1.3 – Detailed Release Notes

We appreciate your patience and ongoing enthusiasm for WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers. In our push to refine the launch experience, we’re rolling out Patch 1.3 targeting early-adopter pain points. Full details follow:

Low Latency Mode is now an optional toggle found in the Options screen instead of being on by default.

Supersampling resolution caps have been recalibrated on specific graphics cards to stop accidental frame drops.

VRAM conservation tweaks for weaker GPUs:

Cards packing 8 GB or less now apply the memory-saver regardless of texture preset.

On GPUs exceeding 8 GB, the sparing approach kicks in only when texture quality is set below Medium.

These adjustments curtail instability and abrupt slowdowns tied to limited VRAM.

Bug Fixes & Stability Enhancements

Squashed a crash that sometimes struck right after the opening studio logo splash.

Eradicated hitches that appeared during finisher moves on certain hardware setups.

Corrected entitlement problems affecting both Standard and Deluxe Editions—after the patch, both tiers should award the intended bonuses properly. Deluxe purchasers who are already in-game just need to sign out and back in, then retrieve the reward from the donation box at Reverent Temple.

Every owner of WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers will be gifted the Original Soundtrack DLC at no extra charge as an apology.

Gameplay Balance Tweaks

Chapter 2 – Landmine Challenge Fine-Tuning:

The minefield now sports fewer explosives and reduced blast damage, aiming for a fairer yet still tense obstacle.

The team is assembling a broader update slated to land within the next few days. If trouble persists after 1.3, swing by the FAQ or ping Customer Support for additional help.
