By “A Far Cry anthology series is on its way…”

With the establishment of Vantage Studios, we’re optimistic that a Far Cry 7 announcement is imminent from the new Ubisoft label – but for now, the company seems to be concentrating on a fresh TV series inspired by the well-known FPS franchise.
Unveiled this week, Ubisoft disclosed its partnership with Hulu for an upcoming TV show. The series will form as “a completely new Far Cry anthology series” with “an entirely different universe and cast” distinct from the previous games.
Despite this new beginning, as noted above, the Far Cry TV show will feature “the precise level of chaos your therapist advised you to steer clear of” – so indeed, anticipate this to be as wild as some of the experiences you’ve encountered in past Far Cry video games. We’re hopeful it captures the excellence of some earlier entries, particularly Far Cry 3 and 4!
Earlier in August, we learned that both entities (Ubisoft & Hulu) were indeed teaming up for a “dark, absurd” Far Cry TV series, although it had not been officially confirmed then. Now it’s official and progressing, and we’re eager to see how this unfolds in the near term.
