“yeah it’s fall currently shh”
How can you enhance Vampire Survivors even further?! You incorporate online co-op!
That’s what is officially set to occur at some point this Fall, as the development team has confirmed it will be one of the (reportedly five) significant new features included in update 1.14.
No release date has been announced yet, but they have recognized that it’s technically Fall at this moment!
“Explore the stages while your companion tries to navigate through Astral Stair, or perhaps see if you can all endure Room 1665… More players doesn’t necessarily simplify things, or does it? Fall is our season to excel, so make sure to return next week to discover what the next card will unveil… we might finally address a pressing inquiry that has been posed countless times.”

They’re clearly keeping numerous other functionalities for update 1.14 hidden at present, but in some follow-up inquiries on social media, it has been confirmed that online crossplay won’t be included at launch but is being considered, while there are no intentions to introduce public lobbies due to how “chaotic the game can get”.
In other words, you’ll need at least one friend (or a few) on Xbox if you wish to team-up later this year.
We’ll monitor all of those additional features coming our way soon, and then we’ll return with a release date for the upcoming Vampire Survivors update as soon as it’s available. Bring it on!
