Hectic months are about to become even more hectic!

We consistently monitor for updates regarding Xbox Game Pass, and we’ve identified two new titles in recent days – one is set for late June and the other is arriving sooner in May.

The May title is Kulebra and the Souls of Limbo, which was announced long ago as an Xbox Game Pass game, but it has just now received an official release date. It will launch for Xbox Series X and S on May 16th.

June’s latest Xbox Game Pass entry is Against the Storm, which first appeared on PC Game Pass in late 2023. This city-building game set in a dark fantasy world has received “overwhelmingly positive” feedback on Steam. It’s set to be available on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One on June 16th.

Both games have been included in our extensive Xbox Game Pass in 2025 guide here at Pure Xbox. Plus, we have a plethora of other confirmed titles for May and June – it’s shaping up to be an exciting couple of months!

Here are further insights on these two newly-announced Xbox Game Pass indie games:

Kulebra and the Souls of Limbo (May 16)

Employ your intellect, compassion, and maybe a firm approach to collect clues, items, and evidence to assist the inhabitants of Limbo in their quest to move on. Navigating the afterlife is a challenging endeavor, particularly when you lack feet!

Against The Storm (June 26)

A bleak fantasy city-building game where you must restore civilization amidst relentless apocalyptic rains. As the Queen’s Viceroy, guide humans, beavers, lizards, foxes, and harpies to reclaim the land while ensuring a future for civilization’s last inhabitants.
