Microsoft has today unveiled the opening set of titles dropping out of Xbox Game Pass during August 2025, confirming three games are scheduled to exit on August 15th — mostly across console, PC and cloud.

Most of these titles will stick around at a price cut of 20 % or more until their departure in early August, and some might see deeper markdowns in forthcoming Xbox promotions over the coming fortnight.
The outlier is Anthem, which is being removed from storefronts permanently ahead of its planned server shutdown early next year.
The next wave of exits will be revealed shortly after August 15th, marking the second and last list before September. For incoming additions, we already know entrants such as Hellblade 2 Enhanced and Gears of War: Reloaded, with further announcements anticipated early next week.
