Is it in the pipeline?
Surprisingly, we are a few weeks away from the debut of the Nintendo Switch 2. Despite this doesn’t impact us directly at Pure Xbox for evident reasons, it certainly has a significant effect on the wider gaming community!
Beyond any doubt, it will influence us in several ways. We had organised a compilation of five strategies that the revelation of Switch 2 has turned out to be a great advantage for Xbox, encompassing an increased opportunity to elevate the prices of consoles and games (something that Microsoft recently undertook, causing general displeasure) along with the likelihood that it will likely accommodate the majority of Xbox’s exclusive games in certain ways.
Above all, we are just passionate about gaming. Personally, I’ve been engrossed in playing my Nintendo Switch OLED lately, but it doesn’t imply that I have plans to buy the Nintendo Switch 2 immediately after its release. Rather, my preference would be to await the expansion of its game repository and for ASUS to disclose the Xbox handheld which would enable me to undertake a comprehensive comparison.
The reality is, I’d preferably engage in third-party games on an Xbox console or an Xbox handheld, particularly as the latter accommodates numerous Xbox Play Anywhere titles. What remains are the exclusively developed games, which could potentially be quite enticing down the road, nevertheless, Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza aren’t sufficient to persuade me at present.
Then again, there’s a chance that this Xbox handheld could turn out to be a disappointment. It could be the most sophisticated handheld PC we’ve ever witnessed, the most ridiculously priced and disappointing ASUS ROG Ally to date, or perhaps somewhere in between. Right now, there are far too many uncertainties and few people can afford to invest in both on the launch day!
Shall we move on to the opinion poll? We already conducted a similar one in early April, but with the initial reactions subsiding and the uproar dwindling, it’s high time to initiate a new one.
Which option did you choose? Purchasing a Switch 2, yes or no? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
