About this time last year, we inquired of Pure Xbox readers how you were navigating Microsoft Rewards in 2024, so we thought it was the right moment to do this again—especially since the service has transformed quite a bit in 2025!
You might remember that earlier this year, the Xbox Game Pass Quests segment of Microsoft Rewards underwent a significant redesign, emphasizing points earned through streaks, eliminating the necessity for completing specific game-related tasks or acquiring daily Xbox achievements. While this change seemed to resonate well with many, some critics argued that Microsoft Rewards had become less captivating for Xbox players as a result.
Since that time, the landscape of Microsoft Rewards has certainly stabilized, and I have been enjoying accumulating points in 2025. Currently, you can earn approximately 10,000 points monthly with Microsoft Rewards, which is significantly lower than previous offerings but still sufficient to claim some attractive rewards.
However, we realize that a few Pure Xbox readers have encountered challenges with “limited” searches regarding Microsoft Rewards this year, which seem to have become notably more frequent in 2025. This limitation often appears arbitrary, causing frustration when you aim to gather your daily points.
