Going beast mode?
- by Ben Kerry
Welcome to another weekend! It’s past mid-September now, which means the big releases are really kicking into gear – including Dying Light: The Beast which just landed on Xbox a few days ago!
Some of you may be getting stuck into that one, but here’s what we’re playing this weekend:

I’ve gotta admit, I’m still well into Gears of War: Reloaded on Xbox right now. Sure, it’s not anything particularly new – but it’s been ages since I’ve been in the Gears swing and I’m massively enjoying it. It helps that I have plenty of practise in multiplayer compared to those PS5 newbies as well…
Elsewhere, I may give the new Dying Light game a go if I fancy it, I’m not entirely sure yet. The spin-off is certainly speaking to me more than Dying Light 2 did, and I enjoyed the first game so I might give it a whirl! Let’s see where the weekend takes me.
Have a good one, folks.

I’m definitely playing some EA Sports FC 26 over the next couple of days, although I’m not sure how much Ultimate Team I can handle this year – it’s one of those game modes that feels more infuriating than fun these days. The Manager Career seems appealing though, especially now they’ve added an “Authentic” gameplay style to enjoy it with.
Beyond that, did I tell you I’ve been playing some Discounty? It’s like this mashup of Stardew Valley and Supermarket Simulator that I’m really enjoying so far, so that’s probably on my list for the weekend as well.
Have a great one, folks!
