Welcome to yet another weekend filled with gaming! As October advances, there’s a lot to dive into on Xbox and more – so let’s have a conversation about what we’ll be enjoying in the upcoming days.
Here’s what we’re engaging with this weekend:

Following what has turned out to be an immensely hectic week for Pure Xbox, I’m eager to unwind; controller in hand this weekend. My primary focus will be getting acclimated to the Black Ops 7 beta across multiplayer and Zombies prior to the full launch – remember, Game Pass Ultimate early beta access has now commenced!
To be honest, that will likely consume most of my gaming hours over the coming days – although I have been enjoying Forza Motorsport lately, so I might switch things up with that. The game’s latest track addition is getting me ready for Forza Horizon 6 in Japan; I’m really looking forward to that one!

I indulged in LEGO Party! recently. My wife and I are enthusiastic fans of Mario Party, and after noticing the positive reviews for this LEGO alternative, I had to grab it. Initial impressions are favorable, but it’s all a bit intense compared to Mario Party – the tempo is incredibly swift and it seems like a lot is occurring without a moment to breathe!
That being said, we’re eager to delve into it further over the weekend and familiarize ourselves with its mechanics, while I’m also hoping to play some EA Sports FC 26 and perhaps revisit Hogwarts Legacy now that it’s available on Xbox Game Pass. I had an incredible experience with it back at launch, and it’s been long enough that it probably deserves a replay.
