Welcome to another weekend! It has been a bustling week in Xbox territory with the Partner Preview showcase recently – and we’ve witnessed several Xbox Game Pass releases in the past few days along with the unexpected debut of Silent Hill 2!
Oh, and happy birthday to the Xbox 360! The iconic console is officially two decades old.
Here’s what we’re diving into over the weekend:

I’m planning for a fairly relaxed few days before I tackle my Christmas shopping next weekend (exciting!), and I have a few titles lined up here. I may explore some The Crew Motorfest as it hits Xbox Game Pass to kick things off; that game is always a delightful experience, and I’m interested in hearing the thoughts of Game Pass subscribers!
Additionally, I recently acquired Space Marine 2 as my first significant Black Friday acquisition, so that’s on my agenda too – and I’m genuinely intrigued by trying out Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition‘s new Switch 2 port. I’ve experienced this numerous times on Xbox already, but I’m curiously eager about this new iteration as well. So, there may be some Lara Croft weekend exploration taking place here too.

I’m beginning to ponder the modding opportunities on my ROG Xbox Ally. I’ve spotted WWE 2K25 at a really low price on Steam, and although I already own it on Xbox Series X (it’s regrettably not Play Anywhere), I think I’m going to go for it. AEW is my favorite wrestling organization, and there are plenty of awesome features to add via the modding community on PC, so it seems sensible to at least give it a shot!
The other title I’m heavily engaged with right now is Fortnite. It’s been years since I’ve delved into it, but the new Simpsons season has reeled me back in, and I’m thoroughly enjoying completing missions and unlocking items, particularly now that Fortnite Crew has been introduced for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members.
