Additional Battlefield 6?

Welcome to one more weekend on Xbox! There’s a stack to dive into over the coming days, including another round of the Battlefield 6 Beta – completely open to everyone on the console.

This is what’s spinning in our drives this weekend:

Ben Kerry, Staff Writer

As we touched on before, I’ll definitely be squeezing in extra Battlefield 6 sessions this weekend. The initial beta stint rocked, and the devs have promised extra maps and modes for its sophomore phase. I’m eager to drop back in!

A pair of fresh Xbox Game Pass arrivals are pulling me too. Aliens: Fireteam Elite is great fun, and—though I already bought it—the swarm of new Game Pass recruits has me itching for another tour. I’ve also been vowing to fire up Hellblade 2 since launch last year, so this new 60 FPS toggle could seal the deal—schedule permitting.

Enjoy the weekend, everyone!

Fraser Gilbert, Editor

My schedule is jam-packed, so heavy sessions may be off the table, yet I’m sorely tempted to grab Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster in the ongoing Capcom sale—despite owning the 2016 Xbox One version and barely touching it!

Slopecrashers has stayed in my mix lately (it’s basically Snowboard Kids on N64 redux), so I’ll likely carve a few runs. And, venturing outside the green brand entirely, I’m mulling a purchase of Tiny Bookshop on Switch—currently ruling those eShop charts. Here’s hoping it lands on Xbox sooner or later.

Have a great weekend, all.
