Talking Point: As A Game Pass Subscriber, Do You Still Spend Money In Xbox Sales?

Or do you tend to wait for XGP?

With Xbox’s big summer sale now out in full force, we’ve been having a good browse of the Microsoft Store in recent days, picking out some pretty great bargains that we’re tempted to grab. There are loads of titles at their lowest-ever prices, alongside a big bunch of 90-95% discounts we’ve spotted as well. Even so, as a subscriber to Xbox Game Pass, we’re never sure what to buy!

Take RoboCop: Rogue City, for instance. In recent weeks, the Nacon shooter has had some absolutely massive discounts – so much so that it almost felt silly not pulling the trigger. Even so, with how busy things are we ended up forgetting to grab it – and then the title came to Xbox Game Pass mere weeks later! It’s always a struggle deciding whether something’s worth adding to the backlog or not.

This time around, we’re tempted by a fair few things to be honest. Death Stranding Director’s Cut looks a bargain at less than £15, Final Fantasy 16 has a substantial discount just a month after its Xbox launch, and then there are some cheap deals for the likes of Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition, Suicide Squad: KTJL, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake and more. We’re just wary of them coming to Xbox Game Pass shortly after!

Anyway, we just wanted to know if you have to deal with this conundrum, and how often it affects your decisions. Do you still buy lots of games in Xbox sales as a GP subscriber? Are you more hesitant to take advantage of any big deals in case those titles come to Xbox Game Pass soon after? Feel free to pick a selection in our poll down below!
